This original BAGGY PORT material is based on ALBERTON's 15oz army duck leather and is given a unique texture by being dyed with a black rust finish in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture.
This material is created through a series of painstaking processes, including washing, drying, rust dyeing, and drying.
ALBERTON 15oz Army Duck
The main material used is 15oz Army Duck, a fabric modeled after fabric from the early 1900s, which is made by mixing uneven yarns (threads that are not of uniform thickness) to recreate the vintage feel.
This canvas is woven slowly and carefully using a shuttle loom that is over 100 years old, and is a precious material that can only be woven about 20 meters per day.
