《Indigo Crocodile-本藍染めクロコダイル-》
エキゾチックレザーの中でもその美しさ・強度・希少性から“ 革の宝石” と称されることもあるクロコダイル。
今回そのクロコダイルレザーに天然の本藍のみを使用した本藍染めを施し、青の濃淡が美しく奥行きのある本藍染クロコダイルとして使用しました。
合成インディゴ染料を混ぜた藍染レザーが多い中、本藍のみで染めたレザーは熟練の技術と時間が必要とされます。
牛革と比べて10倍の強度があるとされるクロコレザーですが、その見た目からは想像できないほどに柔らかく手に馴染む質感を楽しんでいただけます。
さらに表革だけでなく内装の革にも藍染の牛革を使用し、一部にはクロコレザーを贅沢に使用したこだわりの仕様となっています。
クロコレザー特有の斑（ふ）の模様や並び・形状は当然に個体差があり、２ つとして同じものはありません。そして、さらに藍染特有の色ムラや透明感のある表情が加わることで、まさに「唯一無二」の逸品と言えます。
ファスナーには、エレメントの一つひとつに磨きをかけ、美しさと滑らかさを追求したメタルファスナーのE X C E L L A ® と、伸縮性のある横ストレッチテープを組み合わせた「EXCELLA®STRETCH(エクセラストレッチ)」使用し、使い勝手の良さにもこだわりました。
